EXPLORE SCOTLAND

Scotland with its Highlands and Islands has a surprise at every turn. The Highlands were named by Lonely Planet as One of the best places in the world to visit in 2019! With Loch Ness boasting the fabled Nessie, Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK and Glencoe, a simply breath taking valley that was the backdrop for the film Braveheart. Harry Potter made the Glenfinnan Viaduct famous as the Hogwarts Express crossed on its way to take Harry, Ron and Hermione to school! Why not cycle along the path aside Loch Lomond in the Trossachs national park?

Kilts and Castles, whisky and fishing, lochs and mountains, granite and heather, Celtic and Rangers – everything you’ve heard about Scotland’s heritage is true and so much more.

The Scottish Isles boast 790 islands in total, of which 94 are permanently inhabited, and many more that have a history of habitation in days gone by. With the windswept mountains and hillside, resplendent in their heather, home to stags and eagles, the range of whiskies from Arran and Jura to mention just two, the beautiful beaches, the hand made jumpers of Fair Isle or the traditional tweed of Harris, you will find there’s so much to discover in these magical hidden places.
